Scuba Diving | Things to Do in Fiji | Musket Cove Island Resort

Scuba Diving

Subsurface, Fiji’s No.1, multiple award winning PADI 5 Star scuba diving company. Choose a relaxing dive in the calm inner reef waters or explore the famous & nearby Outer Malolo Barrier reef where tropical reef fish, turtles and large schooling fish are your dive companions. Cruiser Bike Rental

No better way to explore our island paradise than by push bike. Musket cove is intertwined with several kilometres of sandy paths and buggyways. You may also explore Malolo Lailais other resorts, Plantation and Lomani.
Daily and weekly rentals. F$30 per 24 hour day, less for multiple days

Sports Fishing

Cruise the crystal-clear waters in and around the Malolo Barrier reef aboard the 8.5m Sea Baron or Rebecca Star centre consul long boat. Trol, pop or bottom fish. Your captain Koroi will advise what best suits the conditions. Shimano popping and trolling rods supplied, together with a selection of lures. Shared rental or private charters available.

Game Fishing

EXPLORE THE MAMANUCA ISLANDS IN STYLE ABOARD THIS 32' WORLDCAT. 

This 32ft centre console catamaran is built to be smooth, stable and comfortable. With cushioned seating to an onboard head. Boat is equipped with live bait tanks, twin Yamaha 300hp outboards, top-of-the-range electronics and outriggers. Catering for 1-8 people, charter the Cobalt for fishing trips, day trips to other islands, surf explorations. The vessel, its Fijian captain and its dedicated guide are yours to explore the Mamanuca Islands.

Charter the Malolo Lailai for group transfers or to explore neighbouring islands
The 8.5m Sea Baron is suitable for upto 8 passengers. Design your own bespoke tour, including; Dolphin watching, snorkeling, fishing, picnics and sight seeing.

Morning or afternoon trips, it’s up to you. Minimum 4 hours.

Namotu Cobalt is also available for exploring further afield locations such as Modriki, Matamanoa, Tokoriki and beyond. Travel in luxury aboard this 10m World Cat. 1/2 & full day charters available. 

Trekking & Jogging

Our island has several kilometres of trails. Perfect for jogging, trekking or a leisurely stroll.

Sand and dirt pathways which meander through the resort gardens along the island ridgeline offering spectacular views, past our organic farm and for the more adventurous. 

Kilometres of unspoilt secluded beaches, coconut plantations and jungle to explore.

CHILDREN ACTIVITIES

Musket Cove proudly offers something for everyone. 

The resort is well equipt for families and couples alike. With adult only and age restricted categories. 

We do not offer a kids club, alternatively we offer daily organised activities around the age and interest of the children. During school holidays we also offer supervised kids dinners, night games and movie nights. All with a leaning toward Fiji culture.

Kids are well taken care off, allowing mum and dad the chance to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet on our island paradise. 

We also offer child minding service for F$10 per hour or F$15 for two. 

 

Our Sustainable Musket

To enhance and protect our island home we have iniitiated several activities.

Includes coral farm, giant clam habitat and mangrove regeneration. All for the purpose of protecting our reefs for future generations.

We are also replacing non indigenous trees with indigenous. Totaling 10,000 plantings. Plus planting exotic tropical fruits to add to our organic farm.

We are also close to being single use plastic free.

We invite guests to participate and be apart in these wondeful initiaitves.

SURFING, KITEBOARDING, SUP

Experience the world famous Cloudbreak, Restaurants and other aclaimed Fiji surf breaks. All within 20 minutes of Musket Cove. Shared excursions or private charters available.

Book your trip through Waterpsorts / Activities bure. Surf trips are operated on a supply and demand basis.

Duration: 20 minutes to and from the breaks, followed by 3 hours surfing. Extensions and extra trips can be arranged.

 

Price: F$70.00 per person for Wilkes, Swimming Pools, Restaurants, Namotu Left & Tavarua Right (intermediate surfers); F$90.00 per person for Cloudbreak and Desperations (advanced surfers) Surf breaks will be determined prior to departure.

Your Captain will advise which are the best breaks on the day, and which break may suit the surfers comfort level. Please note that surfing trips are operated by a third party company with no affiliation to Musket Cove and that changing weather conditions may effect schedules.

Tip: Please check your travel insurance and make sure you are covered for surfing and other marine activities.
